WATCH ONLINE : SMILE (Japanese Drama) Bito - a half Filipino-Japanese guy (Jun Matsumoto) Hayashi Seiji -(Oguri Shun) Hana - (Yui Aragaki)
Yeah this is a nice drama. I'm part Filipino and it's surprising seeing a drama like this. Yeah it seems that whenever they use "Filipino" in a sentence it was used towards something negative (for the most part). I still like the drama. The part that was sad was when he was in sitting down crying by the window and asking his family if they will still believe in him even if he has Filipino blood. oops spoiler.
ReplyDeleteNot all Filipinos are poor. Yeah they're kind and hardworking people though.
Thanks for uploading... I'm a Japanese and I have Filipin friends. I think Filipins are bright and wonderful persons. I have a Filipin friend that is very skilled in computers and fun to hang out with.
ReplyDeletehey thank you so much..Im a full blooded filipino, and i cant understand what they're saying..although ive been used to watching jdoramas (but only the subbed ones)..so please put a subbed version..DOMO ARIGATO>.
ReplyDeleteI hope this show will be aired in my country..
I know there are some anti-japanese sentiments still among some Filipinos...i hope this drama can somewhat helo break the barrier, racism and misunderstandings..
It's just racism really.
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't think something because of someone's race, it depends on the person's personality after all.
I've never seen a drama based around discrimination, only a male/female in a woman/man's field of work.
I might watch this drama afterall.
too much cursing.
ReplyDeletethis drama shows the hardships of a japinoy/japinay living in Japan
filipin yarou translates " Filipino bastard".
not all are like that, but we can't deny there are people like those who treats half-race japanese or foreigners badly
Nice video. Hope to get the other eps here next time.
ReplyDeleteI think they compare it like this... Bito wants to eat O-toro, but is unfortunate (if you get the analogy)...
yeah, i agree with the story.
ReplyDeletefilipinos will just buy something to please their loved one, they have money or not.
